My 8year old daughter had a mean of 120 on IQ test before diagnosis of ADHD, is results accurate?

Now that my daughter has been taking medication for ADHD, should she be retested to see what results are now or if medication is working?
ADHD would affect her performance in an IQ test.
All my son’s teachers agree that he is very bright but state that it is not evident in testing as concentration, attention to detail and working memory are required and he struggles with this.
I’m not sure that knowing a child’s IQ really matters much though unless a applying for a competitive school though. It should be easy to see if the medication is working especially if you and school are filling in the forms and the person that diagnosed her are regularly checking the forms to make sure the dosage is optimal.
