why would you want something alternative when medication has been proven to be safe and effective if taken properly?

i am married and have two children. i am a chef, meaning i work in an industry that rarely supplies health care. with the slump in the economy i am left with just enough money to make my mortgage and put food on the table. though i have little money, i make just enough for the state to decline me for medicaid. i was diagnosed with ADD at age 15 and began a schedule of 30 mg. a day. as soon as this started i noticed an improvement in my grades and ambition to apply myself in a more productive way. this lasted for 4 years. then i was without means to continue to see my dr.
i have read up on buying adderall without a prescription only to find that it seems to be a hoax. when i inquire further to people about this topic the only results i find are complete strangers labeling me a drug addict. that, i am not. i am a hard working husband and father of two who deals with a medical condition day in and day out. i am simply looking for some type of aid for the treatment of my condition. the stress i experience comes solely from my lack of focus. i have many pressures and things that need my attention….attention that i can not apply.

You can try Dexedrine alone but it just doesn’t have enough "kick" as Adderall. What I suggest is trying Vyvance. It is made by the same people that make Adderall. There is a patient assistance program if you are under a certain poverty cut off you can get it free, here it is: https://www.rxhope.com/PAP/info/PAPList.aspx?drugid=4691&fieldType=drugid

Your Doctor should also know this. Once you fill the half page form out & your Doctor fills the rest out & faxes it in, it only takes a few weeks & it’s good for a year or more.

I was diagnosed with inattentive type ADHD in August. I origionally used Adderall in the 10 mg xr dose and it worked wonders. I felt really awake and focused and aware of my surroundings for the first time in my life as well as a heightened sense of well being.

But after about 13 days I had become completely tolerant, so the dose was raised to 15 and the 20. but the effects continued to decrease and I started having side effects (confusion), so about 3 weeks ago I stopped taking it.

I figured to try L-tyrosine, an amino acid precursor to both dopamine and norepinephrine. It actually has helped a lot with my motivation, focus and energy level but I still have issues with facial blindness as well as not being fully aware of my surroundings. This seems to me like symtoms of right temporal lobe disfuction, but the adderall seemed to help with this too when I used it. I decided to try PS, a precursor to acetylcholine, for this but it had a double effect. I feel more aware of my surroundings and more alert in that respect. It seemed to be the final piece of the puzzle except I started to get confused (trying to open the house with the car key, etc.) and lost a lot of motivation and energy until I stopped taking it. I’ve never heard of PS having this effect in anyone and and wonder if I should combine a smaller dose of tyrosine with a smaller dose of adderall. My concerns are complicated, but any experience or advise would be appreciated.
Facial blindness is when you have trouble recognizing faces of people you know including friends and family members. Omega 3 is a good supplement and I’ve been taking it for a while. I think every answer given has something valid to it. Thank you so much.

combine the PS with 5htp (50 g at night- 200g), and keep increasing the tyrosine
