   This happens …
   This happens constantly throughout all branches of science. Science is not infallible and is often politicized, driven by greed, and/or egotistical personalities that are resistant to new theories that break old paradigms.

   For example in physics, there was a direct correlation between sunspot activity and earth temperatures. The link was often discredited as just anecdotal or coincidental because there was not a significant increase in solar energy to account for higher temps on the earth.

   You are just regurgitating dogma.

   Just because there is currently no ‘endorsed’ link does not mean there is not one.

   There are many cases in science where an anecdotal link was there but current theory could not explain; it is ignored or marginalized. History has repeatedly shown certain drugs that were considered safe at one time and later found to be harmful.

   There is dogma even in science and even you are falling prey to it by stating emphatically that autism has only a genetic cause.

   I read in the paper …
   I read in the paper today that China is going to execute two men and jail a woman for life for having sold melamine-tainted milk products which killed at least 6 babies and made some 300,000 babies ill.

   Vaccines cause many more instances of death and llness, yet those responsible are never held accountable.

   I think there is a strong case for introducing the Chinese justice system in the West, as it might act as a bit of a deterrent for the criminals behind the vaccination scam.

   I 1977, 10 babies in Toronto hospital died when an antiseptic containing Thiomersal was dabbed on their umbilical cords, yet Thiomersal was kept being added to increasing numbers of childhood vaccines! Talk about mad or evil “scientists”.

    Autism is hereditary; it has a genetic cause. Millions of lives have been saved because of vaccination, and there is no provable link to autism.

    To better illustrate the point: seatbelts can kill you. They can lacerate your spleen when you get in a wreck. Why on earth would you recommend people wear them? Not to mention children! Why are you putting your children at risk for a lacerated spleen??? Answer me that and you’ve got your answer for why vaccination would still make sense even if vaccs did cause autism.

    Several fairly large studies have found no link between vaccination and autism. It is still, possible that there IS a link that the studies didn’t pick up, but it would likely be a very weak link. Even if vaccines DID “cause” autism it would still make sense to vaccinate your children. A one in a million chance of autism would be an acceptable risk for averting a 1 in ten thousand risk of death from say meningitis. Even if it did cause autism you would be wrong to withhold vaccination.

This comment of yours, emily, shows that there are some gaps in your understanding of the FDA’s role. The FDA is a regulatory agency for drugs and food. The FDA is not a research body that would try to address the genetics of autism.

    There are numerous other materials and metals used in vaccines (for example mercury is still being used in certain vaccines) that can cause autism or autism-like behaviour symptoms. And its ironic that the FDA has not proven consistently that there is proof that autism is caused by genetics.

    you don’t need toxicology, you need epidemiology for this. An epidemiologist might note, for example, that even though thimerosal was removed from the entire infant vaccine series, and from many of the toddler shots– autism rates went up, not down. If you think that thimerosal is causing some autism why did the autism rates go up when thimerosal exposure went down from the 80’s to now?????????????

    Responding to amiriliano concerning the profit of vaccines? You may not be making large profits on vaccines, but you hold to your side of ignoring the toxicology on Thimerosal because it directly threatens your job. The litigation and criminal prosecution that could result from agreeing with the toxicological science and continuing to administer Thimerosal would bankrupt you and most likely put you in prison. The reality is you are most likely some hired Internet surfer, paid to write.

    Educated comments? Yes, Medical School education. The problem is the Medical Dr.’s can’t seem to agree with the PhD’s in biochemistry and toxicology. When one forgets about medical bias and digs into the true hard science of toxicology on Thimerosal, it is neurotoxic, hematoxic, hepatoxic and renaltoxic. It effects many different organs, tissue and glandular systems including enzymatic systems. It directly diables CD4 and CD8 white blood cell immunity. And we are injecting this directly… Wow.

    So Ethyl mercury is used as a preservitive because it doesn’t kill bactieria? What studies do you have where the effects of Ethyl mercury have been tested directly. So its better than methyl mercury and that proves what? Your logic is astounding.
